Free electronics recycling in Bellevue is available 24/7 through our recycling trailer. Old desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, tube TVs, CRT equipment, cables and phones may be dropped off at any time, day or night — no appointment, no fee, and no trip to the landfill.

Two exceptions: computers that require data removal or secure handling, and working computers being donated for reuse through our Single Parent Program. Those should be brought inside during normal business hours so we can properly receive and process them — customers tell us the counter staff are helpful about sorting out what belongs where. Please don't place a computer holding data you want handled securely into the outside trailer.

We can destroy a hard drive or SSD for you at no charge, and if files still matter to you we can look at data recovery before the drive is destroyed, or replace it as part of an SSD upgrade if the computer is worth keeping. A fee applies only if you request a certificate of destruction. If you're unsure whether an item is accepted, call us before dropping it off — it's a fast answer.

What happens to your old equipment

Hardware that still has life in it gets refurbished and often goes back into the community through our Single Parent Program. Machines worth saving are repaired first through our computer repair bench. Everything else is recycled responsibly rather than dumped.
